ABOUT THE CONGRESS

PRETORIA | SOUTH AFRICA

The Congress will consist of lectures, panel discussions and debates on controversial topics, cadaver dissections (with sequential operative steps and videos of proper operative techniques) given by international  experts  and local specialists in the field of managing Head and Neck Oncology patients, in a 4-day program.

The focus of this program will include all the Head and Neck subsites with emphasis on ChemoRadiation and Surgical Principles (oncologic, safe and clean surgical techniques) on proper  management of  the Head and Neck Oncology patient. The surgical procedures most commonly shown will be neck dissection, thyroidectomy, parotid surgery,  laryngectomy and other demonstrable surgical procedures in the head and neck.

The Congress has been divided into two separate 2-day sessions.  Attendees can select to attend one or both of the sessions.

  • The Symposium – will take place from 11 – 12 September 2019
  • Dissection – will take place from 13 – 14 September 2019.
